Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

I really hate when my kids get hungry an hour after eating breakfast. It happens all the time with my kids when they eat a sugary boxed cereal. If they eat these fruit and yogurt parfaits, it will keep them satisfied until lunch. It’s perfect for school mornings.

After you have made the granola, then these parfaits are super easy to make. They don’t make a big mess and they are super filling and super healthy. Of course, it would be a bit more healthy with plain yogurt but my kids really like vanilla.

A little bit of granola, yogurt, then berries and you have these beautifully colored Fruit and Yogurt Parfait.

Make sure to allow for a little extra eating time though. Granola is a bit tougher to chew and it takes a little longer to eat. It’s totally worth it.

Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits

Granola recipe
Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
Fruit (Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, or Blackberries)

1-Make sure you have all you ingredients including making the granola recipe.
2-Clean your work area.
3-Wash the fruit.
4-Get cups out and scoop some granola in the bottom of each cup.
5-Scoop some yogurt into the cups on top of the granola.
6-Add fruit on top of yogurt. You can be done at this point or you can add another layer of the granola, yogurt, and fruit.
7-Eat right away or place in fridge for a little bit. The granola will get soggy if left in the fridge too long so just make what you plan on eating.
8-Clean up mess.
