These Matchstick Pretzel Bites are super easy and not too messy to make. I know when cooking with kids, the mess factor is a huge concern.
These pretzels get hands a little dirty but not much else. I even melt the chocolate in a paper cup so I can just throw the cup away. It makes for a really easy clean up.
Matchstick Pretzel Bites
50-75 Pretzel Sticks
½ cup chocolate chips
Sheet pan with Parchment Paper
Cup for melting chocolate
1-Pour ½ cup of chocolate chips into a paper cup or mug. Cook in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until the chocolate is all melted.
2-Get your sheet pan ready with parchment paper.
3-Dip the end of the pretzel stick into the chocolate and place the pretzel with the chocolate on the parchment paper.
4-Continue until the chocolate and/or pretzels are gone.
5-Wait for the chocolate to harden. You can put the pan in the fridge to make it harden quicker.
6-Clean up mess.
