We’ve done several Healthy things for St. Patrick’s Day so we thought we would throw in a little chocolate this time.

Shamrock Pretzel

Aren’t these things so cute? They are so simple to make as well.

Make sure to watch the video to get all the instructions and let the kids follow along and make them.

You can package them up however you want.

We always have a little scavenger hunt for the kids and this is what was inside this year. They LOVED them.

I personally think the chocolate gold coins are gross so I got some Rolos and some Hershey’s chocolate Nuggets that were wrapped in gold.

Shamrock Pretzels

1-Make sure you have all your ingredients.

2-Wash hands and clean up work area.

3-Turn oven on to 200 degrees.

4-Open bags of pretzels, Rolos or Hershey’s Kisses, M&M’s, and sucker sticks or pretzel sticks.

5-Lay 3 pretzels down in a triangle shape on a sheet pan. Do that about 6 times. Make sure to spread them out on your sheet pan so you have enough room to stick them with your sucker sticks or pretzel sticks.

6-Place the Rolo or Hershey’s Kiss in the middle of the pretzels on each of the pretzel bunches.

7-With the help of an adult, put the sheet pan carefully in the oven. You don’t want the pan to move around or the shamrocks will get all messed up.

8-Bake for 4 minutes.

9-While it’s baking get all the green M&M’s out of the package. We used Peanut M&M’s because they are bigger. You can use whatever kind you want.

9-With the help of an adult, take the pan out of the oven.

10-Place one green M&M on top of the Rolo or Hershey’s Kiss. You might have to push it down a little to make sure it sits well.

11-Stick the sucker stick inside 2 of the pretzels so it’s inside the chocolate as well. When the chocolate hardens then the stick will be stuck inside.

12-Let it cool down for 30-45 minutes. If you want to speed it up you can put them in the fridge.

13-Once it’s completely cool and the chocolate is hard then you can pick them up off the pan and bag them or eat them.

14-Clean up your mess.

15-Put them in bags, in a bowl, on a plate. Eeat, Share, Enjoy!
