If you do not have a Cuisinart Ice Cream maker, stop what you are doing and click this link to get one. It is so quick and easy to use and these slushies are the perfect texture.
I’m not kidding.
I am super picky and my slushies/snow cones/slurpees/icee’s and these are perfect!

All you need is the Ice cream maker, and Kool-Aid.

What I love about these slushies, is that you don’t have to add extra sugar to make these taste good. It’s just straight up, regular Kool-Aid.

You can also use any flavor soda except I’ve heard that diet sodas don’t work. I’m not positive on that though.

Just make sure the bowl has been in the freezer for at least 24 hours without being used. You can only make one batch then you will have to wait another 24 hours. If you know you will need to make more than one batch, you can purchase as extra bowl. We have found that it can make a good enough portion size for the 8 of us.

SLUSHIES

4 cups of ready-made Kool-Aid
1 Cuisinart Ice Cream maker

1-Make sure you have everything you need.
2-Make sure your ice cream bowl has been in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
3-Make sure your work area is clean and your hands are washed.
4-Make the Kool-Aid
5-Get your ice cream maker all set up.
6-Get your frozen bowl out from the freezer.
7-Pour the Kool-Aid in the freezer bowl. It will hold about 4 cups.
8-Turn your machine on and let it work for about 8-10 minutes. You want the Kool-Aid to be thick and the machine to start slowing down.
9-Scoop out into individual cups.
10-Clean the bowl out and put it back in the freezer for next time.
11-Clean up the rest of the mess.
12-Eat, Share Enjoy!
