I don’t like using dough from a can. I do it for ease of the kids. Making your own pastry dough can take hours and hours. Who has time for that? Not this mom of 6. This is super easy and fun for the kids too. It’s all about them right?

Strudel

1 Can Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet, or put together the triangles to make a sheet.
1/2 Cup Raspberry Pie Filling
1 Egg

Cream Cheese Filling:
6oz. Cream Cheese
1/4 Cup Sugar
3 Tbsp Flour
½ tsp. Vanilla

Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp melted butter
½ tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp hot water

1-Wash hands and clean your work area.
2-Turn oven on to 375 degrees.
3-Open Can of Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet and lay it out on a sprayed sheet pan.
4-Mix together the Cream Cheese Filling using an electric mixer.
5-Spread Cream Cheese mixture down the middle of the dough.
6-Spread Raspberry Pie Filling on top of the Cream Cheese Filling.
7-Cut on a diagonal down each side of the sheet of dough about 1 inch apart.
8-Switching back and forth-cross the pieces of dough to the other side and press down. Keep doing it until they are all crossed over.
9-Crack egg in bowl and mix with 1 Tbsp of water. Brush on top of the strudel.
10-Bake for 10 minutes.
11-Mix all ingredients for icing together with a whisk. Using the whisk, shake over the strudel to drizzle it with icing.
12-Clean up.
13-Eat, Share, Enjoy!
