Breakfast Syrup

To go along with our pancakes, I did a whole video on different syrups. FIVE of them to be exact. There are so many syrups out there but these are some good ones.

This is what I like to eat with each of these syrups.

Maple Flavor Syrup is just a basic syrup. I use it in place of anything you would use the generic store bought stuff. I always hated the store bought stuff, it doesn’t have any flavor. It is so good on a pancake with peanut butter or even strawberry jam. I always use this syrup on German Pancakes (recipe to come).

Cinnamon Syrup is soooo good on some Cinnamon French Toast. It is really good but that’s about all I use it for. I top my French Toast with some fresh raspberries, whipped cream, and Cinnamon Syrup and you will be in heaven. I use a loaf of French Bread and let it soak in the juices over night. I’ll have to share that recipe soon.

Vanilla Syrup is good on any pancake, waffle, or crepe. We love to add it with bananas or strawberry jam.

Coconut Syrup is another recent flavor. I have a special place in my heart for anything coconut. Libby really wanted coconut syrup on her birthday with German Pancakes. I’m pretty set on my syrups and my breakfast but it was her birthday so I did what the birthday girl wanted. To my surprise it was delicious. I mixed it with a little bit of maple flavor syrup and it worked out great.

This particular pancake was with the vanilla syrup along with some homemade strawberry jam.

Caramel Syrup is my favorite on crepes with bananas and cream. It is pretty much a dessert. I’ve also done it in the fall with the pumpkin pancakes or waffles and it was to die for. Jules really loves the caramel syrup on anything.
